Malaysia Seaventures Dive Rig Adventure August 8–13, 2027

Join us for 6 days/5 nights on the Seaventures Dive Rig in Malaysia. This trip is scheduled for August 8-13, 2027. The Seaventures Dive Rig has 40 rooms with private restrooms.

Seaventures Dive Rig is located 26 km from Semporna Port and close to Mabul Island. The nearest airport to Semporna is Tawau Airport (TWU), with regular domestic flights to and from Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur. From Tawau Airport, it’s about a 1-hour road journey (83 km) to Semporna.

There is a very short ferry boat ride to the rig from Tawau. Standard transfers are scheduled for 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM, starting with a land transfer from Tawau Airport to Semporna, followed by a boat transfer at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM.

Cost

Standard Room — $1,800 per person / double occupancy

Standard Room (13′ × 9′) and Dive Plan. Includes 3 daily boat dives, meals, land and water transfers from Tawau to the rig. Our package guarantees at least two days of diving at Sipadan Island. No single bookings available.

Deluxe Room — $2,000 per person / double occupancy

Deluxe Room (13′ × 18′) and Dive Plan. Includes 3 daily boat dives, meals, land and water transfers from Tawau to the rig. Our package guarantees at least two days of diving at Sipadan Island. No single bookings available.

Deposit

50% non-refundable deposit of the total is due immediately for booking. The remaining 50% is due before March 1, 2027.

Diving at Sipadan

Sipadan is the most desirable island for diving, although all the islands have spectacular diving. There are some extra fees and permits for Sipadan. The government limits the number of divers that can dive there daily so it is not always available every day. They use a rolling quota divided among the dive resorts.

Sipadan Diving Fee: RM350.00 (approx. $87 USD) per person per day

Sipadan Entrance Fee: RM100.00 (approx. $25 USD) per person per day

Sipadan Diving Fee and Sipadan Entrance Fee are NOT INCLUDED in the above diving package.

All daily entry to dive or visit Sipadan Island will be subject to approval by Sabah Park Management, which is in control of issuing the entry permit.

However, if permit to Sipadan is not available and / or approve, please note that package shall remain in force for 3 dives and to be conducted at around Mabul, Kapalai or nearby island.
