Join Reef Renewal USA on an exciting Dive Adventure to Bonaire. We will be staying at the Buddy Dive Resort. This is a Drive & Dive package which includes a one-bedroom apartment at the resort, one pickup truck per room, and unlimited air tanks. Optional dive boat trips are available for divers who prefer to add boat dives. Trip dates are April 3–10, 2027.

This is more than a dive trip to Bonaire; it’s a rare opportunity to spend a week alongside Ken Nedimyer, founder of Reef Renewal USA and a pioneer of coral reef restoration. With a small group of participants, guests will have the chance to dive with Ken, hear the stories and lessons behind decades of coral restoration work, and get to know him in a relaxed, personal setting that simply isn’t possible at a large conference or event.

For anyone passionate about diving, coral reefs, or ocean conservation, this is an opportunity to share the water, and the week, with one of the people who helped shape coral restoration into what it is today.

For those not familiar with Bonaire, it is a Dutch island in the Leeward Antilles adjacent to Aruba and Curacao. Bonaire is famous for its quality shore diving. The fringing reefs are perfect for shore diving and most feature easy entry. You load a few tanks per diver into your pickup truck and head out to dive. Follow the main road around the island, North or South. Dive sites are marked by yellow painted stones with the name of the dive site. You pull into the parking area and back up right to the water’s edge. Sit on the tailgate and gear-up. Take a few steps and you’re in the water.. After you’ve used up your tanks just drive through the Buddy Dive air station, drop off your used tanks, grab some fresh tanks, and head out to dive again. You can dive as much as you wish. There is no fixed dive schedule to worry about. Bonaire offers the most diving per dollar than many locations. Limited number of rooms available on first come – first confirmed.
